Brian Ruden, Mi-T-M
Brian Ruden
Quality Control Manager

With a degree in mechanical design, Brian Ruden began his career with Mi-T-M in 1989 as a drafter creating initial blueprints and schematics for a variety of Mi-T-M equipment. Ruden was soon promoted to Design Engineer working with a team, to not only design equipment, but also to create virtual models and eventually material models used for safety testing. Both positions prepared Ruden for his current role as Quality Control Manager which he assumed in 2004.

Ruden has been instrumental in the development of the quality control processes used at Mi-T-M and played a key role in the ASME certification when Mi-T-M began manufacturing pressure vessels in 2008. Ruden was also involved in the creation of a Mi-T-M Supplier Quality Manual which must be adhered to by all component suppliers, "The quality control team works extremely hard to make sure only the very best components go into Mi-T-M equipment," says Ruden. "Our suppliers know that nothing leaves our facility without being tested to Mi-T-M's Engineering Specifications and Quality Standards. They have become very active participants in the entire Mi-T-M quality control process."
