Graphic Designer | Shift: 1st Shift

The ideal Graphic Designer candidate will prepare art and graphic design with appropriate composition, layout and design in accordance with company specifications and standards. Working on-site and at the direction of the Marketing Manager, the graphic designer works closely with marketing, sales, engineering and other department members to produce a variety of marketing collateral. The successful applicant will have experience in graphic design and be proficient with Adobe Creative Suite programs. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks and manage time in order to meet deadlines. Ambitious, quick-learner, team player, easy to work with and has a positive attitude. Attention to detail and a passion for great design. Willing to give and receive constructive criticism. BA in graphic design and minimum of 3 years’ experience in graphic design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience in graphic design.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Able to understand processes including scanning, archival, PDF, FTP, process color, fonts, graphic file formats and output devices.
  • Knowledge of Macintosh computer system, capabilities and limitations.
  • Some knowledge of website development and graphic file formats used in creating websites.
  • Knowledgeable in Macintosh graphic design software including InDesign, PhotoShop CS, Illustrator CS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to perform within time constraints.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and as a team in a flexible environment, requiring attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Strong communication, organizational, proofing and writing skills
  • Candidate must be reliable, regular attendance is required
  • Excellent work ethic with the ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle stress while operating with a sense of urgency and using good judgement
  • Ambitious, quick learner, with a positive and friendly attitude
  • Full time position, 1st shift: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Pre-employment drug test is required
