Fabrication Utility - 2nd Shift

Full-Time | Shift: 2nd

This is an entry-level position that will assist the Fabrication department with various tasks.

Duties:
The successful candidate will work with the Laser Department, sorting/organizing parts after they have been cut.

Requires:
Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Exposure to heat, noise, dust, and fumes.
Must be willing to work 2nd shift and overtime as required.
Hours are Monday - Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:15 a.m.
Pre-employment drug test and strength test are required.



Drafter

Full-Time | Shift: 1st

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a key member of the Engineering team at Mi-T-M as a Drafter!

Duties:
Prepares layouts, assembly, and detail drawings for new or improved products, special machinery design, test equipment, tools, fixtures, and gauge design.
Prepares initial drawings on designated test apparatus and monitors results.

Requirements:
1-2 years of College/Trade School education with a focus in Drafting or Engineering.
Knowledge of personal computers and software, including WORD and EXCEL, as well as CAD and Mechanical Desktop.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills



Powder Coat Utility - 2nd Shift

Full-Time | Shift: 2nd

Welder - 2nd Shift

Duties:
Fabricate equipment by cutting, burning, and welding various metals using gas and electric welding equipment.

Requires:
Blue-print reading and trade school welding education or OJT equivalent.
Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Exposure to heat, noise, dust, and fumes.
Must be willing to work 2nd shift and overtime as required.
Hours are Monday - Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:15 a.m.

Production Assembler

Full-Time | Shift: 1st & 2nd

This position works with a team to assemble Hot/Cold Pressure Washers, Air Compressors, Generators, and more! This position requires the operation of hand tools to install fasteners/bolts, interpreting blueprints for assembly, and requires accuracy, ensuring our customers receive the best quality products possible!!

Job Qualifications:
Experience in hand assembly on paced assembly line.
Ability to operate hand tools.
Physically able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, and reach.
Willingness to follow safety rules at all times.



Sales Support Representative

Full-Time | Shift: 1st Shift

Project / Mechanical Engineer

Full-Time | Shift: 1st Shift

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a project leader within a team to design, develop, test and manufacture power products including pressure washers, air compressors, generators, etc.

Essential Functions:

  • Problem solving design challenges, perform engineering calculations in strength and cost analyses, create flow diagrams and testing parameters and review product compliance to regulatory standards, review operations manuals for correct information.
  • Existing production line support – implement changes due to new design or vendor change, update manuals and parts listing information, review assembly procedure changes required, update to certification and specification databases.
  • Accurately tabulate Bill of Material quantities, product costing, testing results and record items clearly and neatly.
  • Prototype assembly build and testing, documentation of results and implementation of improvements to establish life test units.
  • Operate CAD software to create conceptual ideas, refined models and assemblies along with part and assembly drawings.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • May work with quality control department in regard to product redesign to resolve product or production difficulties.
  • Assists in the design and development of special testing machines.
  • May direct the work of drafters and perform quality review checks on models, drawings, manuals and part listings.

Job Qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong analytic and communication skills (verbal/written).
  • Must be familiar with a variety of manufacturing processes, material selection, and product testing in addition to sketching, layout, and drafting work.

 



Press Brake Operator

Full-Time | Shift: 1st and 2nd Shift

Duties:

  • The successful applicant will interpret blueprints/drawings, change machine tooling, and program various Press Brakes to bend metal products.

Requires:

  • Have a technical aptitude for mechanical equipment.
  • Solid background working with sheet metal
  • Knowledge of tooling and tool maintenance
  • Proven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal and metric conversion skills
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to read a tape measure and caliper
  • Ability to distinguish material types including Aluminum, Steel and Stainless Steel
  • Candidate must be reliable, regular attendance is required
  • Excellent work ethic with the ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision while meeting all product quality requirements.

Laser Programmer / Nester

Full-Time | Shift: 1st Shift

The ideal candidate will read, understand and interpret blue prints, have a working knowledge of sheet metal, have experience with AutoCad Inventor Software and be willing to learn the nesting software NCell.  The position requires the programming, setting up, and scheduling of sheet metal parts for laser cutting.  This individual will work closely with the laser operators as well as Fabrication supervisor to determine priorities and also the Purchasing Department to maintain inventory of raw materials.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Nest and schedule laser cutting jobs
  • Assist laser operators at machines
  • Minimize waste and optimize use of full sheets of steel
  • Maintain inventory of material
  • Generate fabrication drawings and parts
  • Additional duties as assigned by manager
